This bright Orange Spiny shell ring was created by a Navajo artist. A triangular spiny shell was cut, polished, and set in a smooth bezel and surrounded by a hand-stamped sterling silver frame. It was lightly oxidized to bring out the detail and give it a vintage look. It has a comfortable split shank band. Orange Spiny shell is found deep in the Sea of Cortez off the Baja Peninsula.
